I just want to share my experience with Dr. Chiu. I am so amazed at how great I look. I had a lower face lift in December of 2020. I am 4 months in to healing and the results have changed my life. I was able to return to work less than 7 days following the procedure and very few people were able to tell I had something done due to lack of bruising. It took about one year for the results of the surgery to settle in, and Dr. Chiu did emphasize that would indeed be the case. It has been 13 months at the time of this post, and I couldn’t be happier with my new nose! It fits the rest of my face, I have full functionality (no issues breathing), and you cannot see the small incision at all. Dr. Chiu is incredibly thorough and highly skilled. At age 65 I had enough of the droopy upper eyelids! The right was even worse then the left. Consulted my local doctors and was told that I was a good candidate for blepharoplasty. I was warned by my personal physician of the recovery and how I would look right after the procedure with bruising, swelling, etc... Dr. Chiu was recommended as one of the best for the LEAST amount of pain, etc... He is over a 3 hour drive from where I live and it is well worth it. I was given several instructions of what to eat and do/don't do before and after the procedure. I followed his instructions as written and to everyone's surprise I had NO pain, no bruising, and very little swelling. My recovery was very fast and I was out in the public the day after without any concern as to how I looked with a couple of small bandages. My own physician was shocked as to how great I already looked right after surgery! I have had so many compliments on how great I look now...all thanks to Dr. Robert Chiu! I wanted to write a review of a doctor that I am completely happy with, and hopefully it can help other people looking to find a good doctor. I've had work done in the past that didn't go so well. And my weight has gone up. I have to work on the weight, though I didn't see the same person in the mirror. And I want to look young. I will say that Dr Chiu is a very natural doctor. If you want the 90s look, this is not your guy. The last time that I went in, I had Botox and filler in my cheeks. He does a great job with Botox and Dysport. You will have movement in your eyebrows, Ofcourse no wrinkles. I wanted to get a little boost in my cheeks, and Dr Chiu made my face look so symmetrical. And the interesting thing that happened is that my nose looks straight. I've also had my lips done once in my lifetime, and that was with Dr Chiu. I had so many compliments on them, it was lovely. And from the time that I started seeing this plastic surgeon, I've had a number of compliments on my face. In addition, I have/had a bad keloid on my back. We are working on it with the Fraxel lazer. We noticed that it is helping, and that was just with one treatment. I have a few more things that I've like to do, though it's up keep at this point. In addition, Dr Chiu is an incredibly nice man and you know that he genuinely cares that you are happy with your results. I was able to resume working from home after four days and started going to the office in ten days. To my surprise no one seemed to notice I had surgery even though I was not able to wear make up yet. Now, three months post surgery, I look ten years younger and I am so happy knowing my eye bags are gone forever. People who don't know I had the procedure most often comment that they “love my hair cut” or that I “look great” but I feel like my eyes look so natural that no one guesses that I had surgery! More

I now have youthful looking eyes and no lines on my lower face. The lower face lift smoothed the entire area and slimmed my face, taking years off my appearance. I now get fillers and botox which contributes to the improvement. I think Dr. Chiu's fees are very reasonable compared to other areas. I was especially impressed by the comments of the nurses at the hospital who told me that if they could do what I was doing Dr. Chiu would be their choice out of the many plastic surgeons who operate there because of his thoroughness and time spent on each patient. I don't think there could be a higher compliment than that! More
I had my eyelid lift, facelift & liposuction of my neck done many years ago by Dr Chiu. Best decision I ever made. It's been almost 10 years and I still look great. I still see Dr Chiu couple of times/yr for Botox. I wouldn't trust anyone else w/my face. More
Dr. Chiu is an eminently qualified Facial plastic surgeon. I wouldn't trust my face to just any plastic surgeon, especially one who didn't have further specialized credentials, no matter how much "cheaper" the procedures. I had facelift, brow and eyelid surgery with very little bruising, and i have had Botox and lip injections As well, and I love the way I look. I feel so much happier with my appearance. More
I had a mini face lift and could not be happier. From the first time I met Dr. Chiu, I knew he would be the surgeon I would trust to work on my face. He thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all questions. Not only was he knowledgeable, I could sense his passion about the work he does. Sara handled all of the paperwork and pre-surgery communication. All of the information presented to me was detailed and did not leave any question unanswered. I expressed some concern about the anesthesia, and Dr. Chiu had the anesthesiologist contact me to discuss my concerns. After the conversation, I had no concerns. I actually went into surgery excited and not scared. I knew I was in the best possible hands. After surgery, there was minimal bruising. I could not believe it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how good I looked and how quickly I healed. I believe it is all related to the meticulous work of Dr. Chiu. The experience was positive in every way. An absolute EXPERT at what he does! Had neck lift and upper eyelid lift. Only one complaint ... and this may apply to other Doctors, as well: Having patient wear full make-up AFTER the procedure/s for photographing purposes. I would much rather have looked at REAL before and after photos of others who had had similiar surgeries, in order to have a REAL perspective on what to expect at certain time intervals during recovery. Personally, I did want to pile on make-up during my own healing time for the sole purpose of looking better in the photos. I truly believe that patients would greatly appreciate seeing the real process of healing (looking at other's photos without the make-up)and could better understand the time it takes to get from the point of "just had the surgery" ... to ... X amount of weeks AFTER the surgery. Let's face it, in the real world, we don't wake up in full make-up, nor do we feel that comfortable piling it on to skin that is still in the process of healing. I also, researched several plastic surgeons on the internet. I looked at their backgrounds and comments from other patients. I decided that Dr. Chiu would be a excellent match for what I wanted accomplished. I had a consultation appointment and together we decided that I needed a bilateral brow lift and a mini face lift. I am very excited to say how much younger I look. Dr. Chiu is an exceptional physician and his skills are meticulous. I would recommend him to anyone.He's a #10 in my book! More
